Lillian Cox is Oldest Driver in America |

If you've been on the roads then you know it doesn't matter if you're 16 or 101, there are some bad drivers out there. But one Tallahassee woman has been behind the wheel for almost a century and she's not slowing down anytime soon.
Lillian Cox still has the need for speed. And at 101 years old, that's simply amazing. Born in 1907, driving since 1915, and owning the open road ever since.
"I drove when I wasn't supposed to be driving. We were 8 or 9 years old," said Cox.
These days, Lilian drives her 1984 Sedan, a car she's had for 28 years and hopefully many more.
"No one believes I'm 101 years old. I'm sure I look it but they don't let me know it....I still have 4 more years to drive."
That's because three months ago, Lilian renewed her drivers license...It'll take her until 2011 when she's 105 years old.
"They called everybody over and shut down the office. They couldn't believe I was 101 years old."
Her driving and spirit have been rewarded. Last year, Lilian appeared on a special with Barbara Walters on how to live until you're 150 years old. And now, Jay Leno wants her on the Tonight Show.
These days, Lilian only drives when she needs to but there was a time when she was driving from Tallahassee to Houston Texas 3-5 times per year...But she was much younger then...95 years old.
"I'm a very fast driver...I was speeding...yes."
